Keynote Presentation

“Plant Responses to Climate Change: Lessons from the Past”
Presented by Professor Jack Williams, UW-Madison

Professor Williams is a leading researcher in climate and plant ecology, studying how vegetation adapted to past climate shifts, particularly after the last Ice Age. His talk will explore the resilience of plant species, the effects of rapid climate changes, and what gardeners can learn from history to better prepare for the future. Whether you’re a native plant enthusiast, a vegetable gardener, or simply curious about the science behind climate change, this talk will inspire, educate, and empower you.
