Learn bouquet making skills with flowers harvested from the flower production plots at Allen Centennial Gardens. In addition to the opportunity to design and build a centerpiece sized arrangement, the session offers a brief introduction about production and management of ornamental flowers and plants for the florist industry. Vases will be provided, but participants may use one of their own if they wish. Flower choices include Cosmos, Dahlia, Marigold, Zinnia and more. You will take home your bouquet and vase, as well as a DIY and reusable flower foam and an informative guide to help you with future bouquet design and construction.
Cost: $45
We will meet in front of the Allen Centennial Garden front gate at 8:45 AM where payment will be taken. This should allow for a prompt start at 9 AM.
